Head light/Tail light Covers
Clear Car Armor is proud to offer coverings for head lights, fog lights, and tail lights!
Head lights/Fog lights
Clear Car Armor offers a number of solutions for keeping your headlights in pristine condition. For glass headlights which are common on older vehicles and fog lights on some newer vehicles, we offer a 27-mil thick headlight film that will protect these expensive lights from breaking. For polycarbonate (Lexan) headlights which are considerable much more resistant to breakage and typically found on all new vehicles, we offer an 8-mil thick film which protects them from pitting and weathering which eventually leads to dim, faded lights.
For those that want a to stand out from the crowd and have a unique look, Clear Car Armor offers 20-mil colored films (smoked, yellow, blue, and red) that can be applied to both headlights and fog lights.
Tail lights
Want that blacked out look for your tail lights? Clear Car Armor has smoked hundreds of tail lights and we can give you that hot look that sets you apart from the others. We have two methods for smoking lights. For customers who are looking for a temporary solution, we use our 20-mil smoked film to cover the tail light (tail lights cannot be too contoured). This gives a great look and the film is designed to still provide for optimal clarity (the film cover isn’t so dark that brake lights and reverse lights cannot be seen). For customers who do not mind a permanent application, we will spray the lights with a translucent black paint specifically designed for use in smoking lights (allows light to still shine through) followed by a urethane clear coat to protect the paint and give it that glossed look.
